The ability to connect up to eight PDU-8s (four on AEM Dashes, and one on Infinity ECU's) on the same CAN bus network lets installers mount the individual PDUs closer to the subsystems they are controlling, which simplifies wiring, reduces weight, and increases reliability.  This CAN-based solid-state control module eliminates the need to install fuses and relays for the switched functions that it operates.
