Many Bronco owners report transmission temps in the 200-215°F (93-102°C) range under moderate load. Some owners have seen temperatures as high as 280°F (138°C) in extreme condition\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eTest data showed a peak transmission oil temperature of just 180°F (82°C). This number was recorded during stop-and-go traffic immediately following the off-road test with an ambient temperature of 93°F (34°C).
