The expanding, large-volume inlet acts like a big velocity stack, accelerating airflow far better than the short stack inside the OEM intake. The result is smoother low-rpm torque, vastly improved drivability and immediately sharper throttle response. The inlet attaches via a stainless steel V-band clamp to the air filter housing, which mounts directly to the OEM front air feed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eHigh-Flow Air Filter\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eA bespoke short-stack, high-surface-area filter with a 170 mm (6¾\") opening sits ahead of the inlet tube to form the largest velocity stack ever seen for the N55.
