The EVO8101C is a sleek intake kit that practically drops-in by itself and provides unparalleled looks under your hood. On top that of that beautiful housing is our Clear-View window for easy filter inspection. This window has an eye-catching red stripe with a white Injen logo that really pops when you open your hood. The EVO8101C housing encloses an Injen 8-Layer oiled cotton gauze air filter utilizing our patented Twist-Lock technology for a simple install and clean looks. Injen's EVO8101C comes with all necessary hardware to provide a simple and fast installation. No cutting or drilling required for an easy installation process that does not require aftermarket tuning for exceptional HORSEPOWER and TORQUE GAINS straight out of the box.
• 8-Layer Oiled Cotton Gauze Dry Air Filter: 'That's massive!' is all you will hear about this 8-layer oiled cotton gauze air filter that is included with the EVO8101C cold air intake system. This filter is uniquely designed to work with the Injen Twist-Lock System. Using our Twist-Lock technology has allowed our technicians to use the largest filter available for this application for maximum air flow and filtration efficiency. This giant air filter enhances the air volume resulting in increased power gains while making this installation process quick and easy.
• Cross Linked XLPE Roto-molded Housing and front scoop: The one-piece sealed housing utilizes the all-new Injen Twist-Lock System to securely attach the Injen 8-Layer oiled cotton air filter in place which eliminates the use of unnecessary parts and provides one of the simplest installations available. The box is molded into our fully functional ram air scoop to capture the maximum amount of cool air to feed that hungry engine. The EVO8101C housing also sports the all-new Injen Clear-View badge for a cleaner more aggressive under hood appearance.

HDPE is cheap for manufacturing but doesn't come close to the strength and durability of XLPE polyethylene. The XLPE that Injen uses has 20 times the environmental stress crack resistance of HDPE, 10 times the molecular weight of HDPE, and 5 times the impact and tensile strength of HDPE.
