This Honda Civic Type R performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fit from the turbo backwards (turbo-back system), these parts replace the front pipe, centre and rear sections.
This 'Valved' exhaust retains the use of exhaust valve. When switching drive modes (e.g. Eco to R mode) your exhaust tone will continue to swop from quieter to louder tones as before.
The valved exhaust is supplied with a newly designed heat shield which provides optimal heat protection and aerodynamic efficiency and replaces the factory item which is not compatible with the larger diameter exhaust pipework and valve.
This exhaust has a choice of 4" (101.6mm) tailpipe options including a choice of carbon fibre tip options.
The sports cat option is made from 4in/101.6mm pipework reducing to 3in/76.2mm bore and includes a 4.5in/114.3mm 200 cell high flow sports catalyst.
The sport catalyst version replaces factory emissions devices and is not EC homologated. This may not meet current emission laws for road use in your territory.
Fitment is for motorsport and off road use only as it removes the PPF filter.
IMPORTANT: This exhaust removes the PPF (Petrol Particulate Filter) and will require engine tuning at time of fitment to cancel the EML light on PPF equipped vehicles.
All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied (excluding turbo gasket).

EML lights may activate after removing the standard O/E catalyst. An ECU Re-map is recommended to correct this problem and stabilise all power increases.
Cobra Sport accepts no responsibility for the use of parts which remove emissions devices on the public highway. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all local laws are adhered to within their home state/country.
SHIPPING
All items are subject to a handling period before they are dispatched. 99% of orders leave the warehouse within 1-3 days of payment. We will notify you by email when your items have been shipped. Most items should be received within 3-7 business days of your order date. This may be longer for international delivery.

RETURN/REFUND POLICY
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days of purchase your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
-Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused and in original packaging.
-Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the product is defective.
-Refunds processed within 5-7 business days after receiving the returned item.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
