For the F90 M5, Infinity Design fitted both banks with large cross-sectional turbo inlet tubes — smooth, non-concentric expanding tubes joined with silicone couplers. The turbo inlets are vastly larger than OEM and feature an internal velocity stack that further smooths and accelerates air into the turbo housings.

The expanding, large-volume inlet tubes act like a big velocity stack, accelerating airflow far more effectively than the small, short stack inside the OEM intake. The result is far smoother low-rpm torque and vastly improved drivability, with throttle response that is immediately smoother and more eager. The inlet tubes attach via stainless steel V-band clamps to the air filter housings, which mount directly to the OEM front air feeds.

High-Flow Air Filters

The bespoke short-stack, high-surface-area filters have a huge 170 mm (6¾") opening and sit ahead of the inlet tubes to form the largest possible velocity stack, directing airflow toward the outer walls to take full advantage of the intake tubes.

Road Testing / Datalogging

Road testing and datalogging show improved acceleration with major improvements in throttle response and more torque, especially felt from third gear onwards.
